Philipp Zürger makes it a Swiss victory in Gorla Minore

The international CSI3* 1.45m Grand Prix in Gorla Minore saw 60 horse-rider combinations at the start. Eventually it was Switzerland's Philipp Zürger who left the others behind him jumping to victory aboard the 9-year-old stallion Lykkeshoejs Castus (Casir Ask x Carano). The pair produced a double clear round in 35.62 seconds. Marc McAuley followed with Miebello (Flyinge Quite Easy x Cardento). The pair crossed the finish faultless in 35.91 seconds. Pius Schwizer placed third with Askaria (Askari x Levisto). The top five was completed by Daniel Etter (I Am Samourai, by Indoctro) in fourth and Fabio Crotta (Caressa Z, by Clarimo) in fifth.
