Philippe Züger makes it a home win in Basel

In Basel's Table C speedclass the fences were set at a height of 1.45m for the international 5* riders. 'Speeddevil', Emanuele Gaudiano set the record time aboard his 8-year-old chaccomo-mare, Carlotta. The pair crossed the finish in 54.52 seconds. With one jumping fault under the way, this resulted in a grand total of 57,52 seconds and a fifth place. Victory was for the home rider, Philippe Züger who jumped a clear round with Lykkeshoejs Castus (by Casir ASK). The pair set the time at 55.81 seconds. Compatriot, Pius Scwhizer settled for a position as runner-up. Yesterday Schwizer already claimed a win, today he started as one of the last combinations and stopped the time in 55.88 seconds with the 11-year-old Leonard de La Ferme CH (by Landjuweel). Italy's Luca Maria Moneta and the 16-year-old Neptune Brecourt continued their form speeding to the third place. Moneta stopped the time at 56.49 seconds with his Cumano-gelding.
