Piergiorgio Bucci on top in Knokke

The second week of the Knokke Hippique concluded with the CSI3* 1.50m class. After a jump-off with 13 combinations it was Italy's Piergiorgio Bucci who speeded to victory. Aboard the 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood-gelding, Deniro (Argentinus), Bucci speeded to victory in 40.84 seconds. With over two seconds difference Emma Stoker followed in second with under the saddle Townhead Tallulah V (Tabasco La Silla). The British and her 13-year-old mare, crossed the finish in 43.16 seconds. Catherine Van Roosbroeck made sure there was some home colour on stage. Van Roosbroeck completed the stage with the Quasimodo Z-daughter, Qiazetta Z. The top five was completed bby Jacques Helmlinger with Tonic des Mets (Ogrion des Champs) in fourth and Dutch rider, Kim Emmen with Delvaux (Chacco-Blue) in fifth. Click here for the results
