Pieter Devos rides Espoir to clear win in World Cup Leg Bordeaux

The Belgian rider Pieter Devos just won the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Leg in Bordeaux with his fourteen-year-old BWP-gelding Espoir (Surcouf de Revel). Devos competed against nine other riders in the jump-off, but his fast time of 36,53 seconds remained unbeaten. The german rider Marcus Ehning jumped Cornado NRW (Cornet Obolensky) to the second place in 38,09 seconds. Manuel Fernandez Saro and Cannavaro 9 (Cornet Obolensky) managed to take the third place in 38,4 seconds for Spain. Switzerland's Paul Estermann and Lord Pepsi (Lord Pezi) took the fourth place in 39,47 seconds, the last pair to go clear in the jump-off. Carlos Enrique Lopez Lizarazo and Admara 2 (Padinus) set a fast 37,79 seconds, but had a pole down in the jump-off. Click here for the complete result.
