Pieter Devos victorious in Mechelen

After the Speed and Handiness class it was time for the CSI5* 1.50m class. Fifteen combinations were qualified for the jump-off. Belgian rider Pieter Devos won the class with the eleven years old Espoir (s. Surcouf De Revel). They were clear and really fast (30.48 seconds). Jerome Guery tried to be faster but finished in 30.92 seconds with Papillon Z (s. Perhaps). They became second. The british Laura Renwick got bronze with Bintang II (s. Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve). Jeroen Appelen (Aikido Z) and Kevin Staut (Bleu Bayou) finished in fourth and fifth place. Click here for the results.
