With a beautiful ride it was Belgium's Pieter Devos who was victorious today in the Longines Cup of the City of Barcelona. In this 1m55 course he and his nine year old mare Claire Z (by Clearway) ended their first round strong with a clear round. In the second round the rider kept his cool and finished again with a clear round and 50.66 seconds on the clock. For a moment it looked like France's Kevin Staut was going home with the victory. He finished however a bit slower in 51.74 seconds, just behind Devos, with his Silver Deux de Virton HDC (by Kashmir van Schuttershof). In third place it was Canadian rider Eric Lamaze and his Chacco Kid.
