Pius Schwizer takes the lead on the first day of competition in Eschweiler

In Eschweiler the first day of competition ended with a CSI3* class on a hight of 1.40m. Here it was Pius Schwizer who was the fastest, he entered the arena with Electric Z (by Erco van't Roosakker) in a time of 55.76 seconds. He was followed by the German rider David Will with under his saddle Cassandro (by Casall) in 56.54 seconds. The third place was for Kathrin Müller with Fiona 496 (by For Pleasure) who stopped the clock in 57.40 seconds. On the fourth place came the South-African rider Alexa Stais with her horse Bjerglunds Cuba (by Clarimo) who went through the finish in 57.64 seconds. The top five was completed by the Australian James Paterson - Robinson with Stakkato's Star (by Stakkato) in 57.75 seconds. In the CSI1* of 1.35m hight the victory was for the Irishman David Simpson with Starfighter (by Stalypso). The combination stopped the time in 50.92 seconds. He was followed by the British Louise Simpson who rode Jaffar De Bourguignon (by Lord Z) around the course in 52.53 seconds. The third place was also for Great-Britain with Robert Whitaker with Hicksteadt Aeg (by Landor S) in 54.43 seconds. The other CSI1* class of 1.25 seconds there was a German top three. The fastest among them in 52.76 seconds was Theo Kröning who came into the arena with Bijou 375 (by Balou du Rouet). The second place was for Ruven Simon with his horse Camillo 182 (by Cayado) in 53.68 seconds. The top three was completed by Hetzel Holger with under his saddle Eclair (by Vincenzo) who crossed the finish in 53.72 seconds. Click here for all the results.
