The three star competition in France's Macon Chaintre fell prey to Swiss rider Pius Schwizer. Aboard his Cortney Cox (by Carlo 300) he jumped a clear round in the 15 combinations strong jump-off in this 1m50 field. The pair crossed the finish line in 34.07 seconds. With that time he beat Alberto Zorzi who aboard Ulande de Coquerie (by L'Arc de Triomphe) finished in second place in 34.95 seconds. Then in third place it was Guillaume Foutrier and his Valdocco des Caps (by Number One d'Iso un Prince) with whom he crossed the finish line in 35.53 seconds.
