Rahotep de Toscane seems okay after suspected lameness

The French mediasite L'Eperon announced today that Rahotep de Toscane is doing very well. After a few months of rest the grey gelding by Quidam de Revel was performing once more at top level last weekend. The Olympic son of Quidam de Revel jumped to a golden team medel during the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro last year. But in the five star show in Bordeaux he turned up lame after the first round. Rider Rozier Phillipe said: "Last saturday he didn't feel right after our course. He seemed to have trouble walking with his left behind leg. This is the leg where he had an tenosynovitis before, so we were very worried. Luckily it turned out okay." Later this month the combination will start in Abu Dhabi.
