Reed Kessler tops the first jumping day in Stuttgart

Yesterday the German Masters in Stuttgart concluded a first day of show jumping with the 1.50m Prize of Walter Solar. This Speed and Handiness class was the perfect setting for USA's Reed Kessler and her 13-year-old Cylanan (by Skippy II). The pair finished in 60.94 seconds, taking home the 7,000 Euro win. Felix Hassmann and Horse Gym's Balzaci followed in a second place after a finish in 63.07 seconds. H&M-rider, Malin Baryard-Johnsson and H&M Tornesch (by Lux) finished third. The top five was completed by Olympic Champion, Steve Guerdat (Kavalier) and Dutch Leopold Van Asten (VDL Groep Beauty). The 1.45m Bardusch Textil Mietdienste was divided into two classes. One for the German-riders, one for the non-German riders. Victories went to Swedish Linn Zakariasson with Ugaulin du Bosquetiau (by Kashmir van Schuttershof) and Felix Hassmann with SL Brazonado.
