In the individual Children finals in Fontainebleau it was Ireland's Rhys Williams who jumped to the Golden individual medal. As only rider it was Rhys Williams who didn't touch a rail over five rounds. Together with his 11-year-old CES Crusonn (Chippison) he didn't need to battle an ultimate jump-off, and secured the gold. Six combinations returned in a final jump-off to battle it out for the silver and bronze. The stage was completed by two German Children. Chiara Reyer claimed a silver medal aboard her 10-year-old Cederic (Cassus) while Henry Munsberg took the bronze with Asterix (Toulon). Three pairs settled for a fourth shared place.
