Rhys Williams claims golden European medal

In the individual Children finals  in Fontainebleau it was Ireland's Rhys Williams who jumped to the Golden individual medal. As only rider it was Rhys Williams who didn't touch a rail over five rounds. Together with his 11-year-old CES Crusonn (Chippison) he didn't need to battle an ultimate jump-off, and secured the gold. Six combinations returned in a final jump-off to battle it out for the silver and bronze. The stage was completed by two German Children.  Chiara Reyer claimed a silver medal aboard her 10-year-old Cederic (Cassus)  while Henry Munsberg took the bronze with Asterix (Toulon). Three pairs settled for a fourth shared place. Sanne Ter Haar (Aldhers), Megan Li (Eclips van Erpekom) and Andrey Gorchakovskiy (Sempa Fidelis) .   Click here for the results
