Ireland ruled the FEI World Breeding championships for five year old jumping horses today. The best 55 combinations, after two qualifiers earlier this week, jumped the finals today in Lanaken, Belgium. Aboard the Pacino-son, Uppercourt Cappucino (mf. OBOS Quality), Richard Howley speeded to victory. The pair set the winning rime of 35.17 seconds, and were followed by compatriot, Darragh Ryan with the Irish gelding, Csf Sir George (Sir Shutterfly x Cavalier Royale). The five-year-old gelding was sold in 2016 at the Gorebridge Sale for 42,000 euro. The pair stopped the timer at 35.34 seconds today. Michael Pender completed the Irish stage with HHS Vancouver (Indoctro x Don Juan de la Bouverie). In the saddle of Marion Hughes' sire Pender jumped to the bronze medal. Piet Raijmakers Jr. followed in a fourth place with the Zangersheide-sire, I'm Specialized Z (I'm Special de Muze x JK Horse Truckx Commanchi). Earlier this year the pair already won some CSIYH classes in Bonheiden. Laura Robinson completed the top five with the Cornet Obolensky-daughter, Millfield Colette. uitslag
