A total of 84 athletes representing 19 countries is what the CSI5* in Gijon has to offer. The international show jumping is scheduled from August 24 until 28. The Spanish international show jumping sees some of the best riders at the start. Although the Olympic crew won't take the start, still the top of the world is present. European Silver Medal winner, Gregory Wathelet will battle it out against former Olympic rider, Cian O'Connor, Cassio Rivetti, Billy Twomey, Abdel Said and Abdullah Al Sharbatly. For the hosting country it are Sergio Alvarez Moya, Gonzalo Anon Suarez, Armando Trapote and Marta Ortega Perez who'll defend the Spanish flag.
