Robert Ridlund will continue to serve as the Chef D'Equipe and Technical Advisor for U.S. Showjumping

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce that Robert Ridland will continue to serve as the Chef D'Equipe and Technical Advisor for U.S. Show Jumping. Ridland will continue to play an important role, alongside the Show Jumping Managing Director, in the development and implementation of show jumping plans for the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team and will help grow programs for developing and elite athletes.
"After an outstanding four years we are thrilled to announce that Robert will continue to serve in his role as U.S. Show Jumping Chef d'Equipe and Technical Advisor. He has had an impressive record, medaling in all three major Championships: the Olympic, World Equestrian, and Pan American Games. He will continue to play an integral role in guiding our show jumping teams and creating an effective pathway for our future stars," said USEF President Chrystine Tauber.
Ridland will serve as the U.S. Show Jumping Chef D'Equipe and Technical Advisor for the next four years with the focus on the Tryon 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games and the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.
"I am very excited to once again be given the unique opportunity of working with what I believe is the most talented group of horses and riders in the sport today," said Ridland. "Over the past four years, I have constantly been reminded of how fortunate we are to have the unrivaled USEF support team working behind the scenes with us to make it all possible. And with the unwavering support of the owners, I look forward to continuing to help lay the groundwork for sustained success for our present and future riders throughout the next quadrennium and beyond."
