Romain Duguet and Twentytwo des Biches seize first place in opening class Saut Hermès Paris

Switzerland took the victory home today in the opening class CSI5* 1,45m at Saut Hermès in Paris. It was Romain Duguet with Twentytwo des Biches (Mylord Carthago) who beat his 43 competitors with a time of 29,61 seconds. No other rider managed to stay below 30 seconds in the thrilling second phase, even though Britain's Robert Smith and eleven-year-old Cimano E (Unaniem) got pretty close in 30,32 seconds. They finished second. France also took two places for itself in the top five. Alexandra Paillot rode Tonio de la Goutelle (Ogrion des Champs) faultless over the fences in 30,52 seconds en came in third, Olivier Robert followed with Tempo de Paban (Jarnac) in fourth place.
