Today the international five-star show jumping action started at the FEI Worldcup competition in West-Europe. In Helsinki it was Sanna Backlund who jumped to victory on home soil in the 1.40m opening class. Aboard the 9-year-old KWPN-gelding, Zorro H Backlund set the fastest time. The Numero Uno-son was before competed by Dutch show jumping rider, Marc Houtzager. Together with Backlund the gelding crossed the finish in 33.92 seconds. Italy's Michael Cristofoletti followed as runner-up with the 10-year-old Dutch mare, Sig Debalia (Zürich). The stage was completed by France's Aldrick Cheronnet in the saddle of the sBs-sire, Atlantys by Wisbecq (Argentinus). Local hero, Miisa Pulkkanen placed outside the stage in fourth with Dolanda (Canturano) while Angelique Rüsen completed the top five aboard Zaza Z (Zandor Z). Uitslag
