Sanne Thijssen claims young rider Farewell competition in Samorin

At the European Championships for the youth in Samorin, Sanne Thijssen speeded to victory in the 1.40m Farewell competition. Aboard her 10-year-old Crusador-mare, Celine M Z she was the only one to produce a clear round in the jump-off. Germany's Finja Bormann and the 11-year-old A Crazy Son of Lavina (v. Azzuro Classico) followed as runner-up before Poland's Michalina Szmytka (Comet, by Contendro I). The top five was completed by Alexandra Mladin Bradisteanu with Colany (by Co-Pilot) in fourth and Emilie Paillot with Caja (by Cornet Obolensky) in fifth. Click here for the results
