In yesterday's Dutch championships for Juniors and Young Riders there was no doubt who would end up on top with Sanne Thijssen having two rides in each class. The only sixteen year old spous of Dutch top rider Leon Thijssen entered the last day of competition well prepare do sweep away the gold medals in both championships. At the Juniors Tijssen took the lead from the first day and leaving competitors way behind by winning every class with her top horse Ulena. Just to make sure, she also took her second horse (Warette) to the top of the leader board in the overall championship ending up on first and second place to secure the gold medal. Runner up Max de Mol and took home silver with a gap of 6.19 penalties in front of Lars Kersten (Largo) who received the bronze medal. Later on the afternoon the Young Riders showed some more action with Sanne having to work for het title as she needed a clear to stay close to the leader Amber Feijen. With her Con Quidam RB she produced two world class clear rounds. As the climax of the competition was nearing Feijen was last to go with Briljant. By having a clear round the Young Riders titel was at hands reach, but the presure seemed to much and the duo had a crucial pole come down ending up taking the silver instead after a jump off with the bronze medal winner Niels Knape (Caluna's Cacharel Z).
