Saudi Arab Federation also acquires Grand Prix-mare, Spacecake

Earlier the Saudi Arab Equestrian Federation acquired Jur Vrieling his former talent, Kriskras DV. With the focus on the Olympic Games in Paris, the federation has also secured Ellen Whitaker her Grand Prix-horse, Spacecake (Stakkatol).

Spacecake was developed up to a CSI3* level by Belgium's Jeroen Appelen. In 2021 Great-Britain's Ellen Whitaker took over the reigns. The pair jumped to a fourth place in the CSI5* Grand Prix in London this year.

“I don’t know that there are enough words to justify how I want to thank this amazing mare. We all have our own stories…words will never be enough. You lit me up. And we fought together. You are a warrior. And you reminded me how to be that again. I wish I could have had you forever. But you are ready. Thank you so so much to Spacecake. What you did for me was magical. Good luck with your new partner. We love you always.”
