British rider Scott Brash starts 2015 just as he ended 2014, as World no. 1 ! The latest Longines World rankings were released earlier today and they revealed what we pretty much knew already, that Scott would keep his position on top of the rankings after his brilliant win in Geneva last month. German riders Ludger Beerbaum, Marcus Ehning and Daniel Deusser take 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively while American rider Kent Farrington drops down to 5th place. Outside of the 'Top Ten' there are two young riders who continue to climb up the rankings. Nineteen year old Irish rider Bertram Allen climbs two places to 15th spot while twenty year old Belgian rider Constant van Paesschen climbs up eight places to 19th spot.
