For most people, July means an intensive competition month, some holidays coming up, sun, sea and beach... with or without a horse. For us July is yet another published Longines World Ranking list. With the complete top three left untouched. Scott Brash is still the reigning show jumper of the list. The British show jumper is followed by Daniel Deusser and Kent Farrington. Olympic Champion, Steve Guerdat jumps ahead one place, finishing ex aequo with Kent Farrington in a fourth place. Biggest jump forward in the top ten is made by Ludger Beerbaum, now being the number six of the world (last month 10th). Also Michael Van der Vleuten puts a smile on his face, being back in the top ten on the 9th place. Having a closer look at the top 50, it is John Whitaker who draws the attention. Whitaker was the 32nd in the ranking, but jumped ahead 12 spots, finishing 20th this month. Unfortunate for Mohammed Bassem Hassan who falls abck 20 places from the 23rd to the 43rd place. But it is France's Romain Duguet who makes the biggest jump in the top 100. From he 127th place he enters the top in 83th position, jumping ahead 44 spots. Also Jessica Mendoza did a great job last month. Based in Belgium she enters the top100 in a 74th position, jumping ahead 28 places. Apparently moving to the center of Europe has advantages. Reed Kessler went from 96th to 71st ... a nice 25 places in the right direction. CLICK HERE FOR THE RANKING
