Sergio Alvarez Moya takes over the lead from Leprevost

Pénélope Leprevost was the leading lady at the start of today's Qualifier in Aachen. Only 25 horse-rider combinations would go through to the final rounds in Aachen. Going in as one of the last rider, Spanish Sergio Alvarez Moya finished clear. Having only 1.45 points from day one and two clear rounds after, the Spanish rider jumped to the provisional leader spot aboard Carlo 273. Jumping one rail down, Pénélope Leprevost is now stranded with 4 points. Leaving the French lady and Flora de Mariposa in a fifth place. Cassio Rivetti (Vivant) takes in the runner-up position, followed by World and European Team Gold Champion, Jeroen Dubbeldam (SFN Zenith N.O.P.). Swiss Romain Duguet (Quorida de Treho) brought his team back home the silver medal finishing clear and ending fourth in the provisional ranking. Lucky rider of the day is without a doubt Kevin Staut. The french show jumper jumped two rails down with Reveur de Hurtebise H D C. Bringing him on a total of 12.01 points, translated into a 25th place. Meaning the last qualified rider for the final tour.
