Sergio Alvarez Moya takes the spotlights in Versailles' main class

No less than 100,000 euro was to be shared in the Grand Prix Renault et de la Ville de Versailles, nearby Paris. The Versailles palace was set in a coloured spotlight, the arena was levelled and the jumps built at a height of 1.55m height. A total 39 top combinations took the start, offering top leveled sport. The last will be the first, lucky for Spanish show jumping rider, Sergio Alvarez Moya. Moya speeded to victory aboard Arrayan (by Baloubet du Rouet) after a clear finish in 36.21 seconds. Together with this 12-year-old KWPN-horse he was followed by Dutch Harrie Smolders. Smolders and his stallion, Emerald N.O.P. (by Diamant de Semilly) placed as runner-up. The pair made a clear finish in 38.21 seconds. Third place was set away for Alberto Zorzi and Rackham'Jo (by Diamant de Semilly). The top five was completed by Daniel Deusser aboard the Belgian bred Equita van 't Zorgvliet (by Cassini) in fourth and Sweden's Malin Baryard-Johnsson with H&M Cue Channa 42 (by Cardento 933) in fifth. Maikel Van der Vleuten and VDL Groep Idi Utopia (by Quasimodo Z) in sixth.     CLICK HERE FOR THE RESULTS
