The final day of International Show Jumping at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER Austria was opened today by the 32 participants in the CSI5* GLOCK’s Perfection Tour over 1.45 m. This jumping competition in two phases was the first of three World Ranking tests today and presented the riders with a demanding task. The best response came from Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) with his nine-year-old Iron Man 111. The BWP gelding took the 15 obstacles and 18 jumps with ease and the duo’s time was 36.17 seconds. With that, no one could deny them victory in the test with prize money totalling 25,000 euros. Sergio is also hoping for a good placing in the GLOCK’s 5* Grand Prix: "My horses are all still really young and haven’t finished very many grands prix yet. Whatever happens, I’ll try to ride in among the top three." Someone else who can be satisfied with the results of the GLOCK’s Perfection Tour is Pieter Devos. This Belgian, riding Gin D, son of Clinton, took second place (0/38.15), whilst third place went to Laura Renwick (GBR) in the saddle on Bintang II (0/38.36). 05 CSI5* GLOCK’s Perfection Tour Int. jumping competition in two phases, 1.45 m Competition counts for the LONGINES Ranking list 1.
