In the fourstar competition for The Hickstead Master's Trophy it was between Shane Breen for Ireland and UK's Joseph Clayton in this 1m50 jump-off. With twelve combinations in the jump-off it was Shane Breen who took the victory. Breen counted on his stallion Clyde VA (by Caretino) with whom he jumped a double clear round in 46.22 seconds. It was Joseph Clayton who came closest to that time with Via vd Karmenhoek Z (by Via Veneto) with 48.18 seconds taking them to second place. Then in third place it was John Popely with For Fun (by Carosso VDL) in 48.72 seconds. Joseph Clayton also took the fourth place in the saddle of his PLS Halo Diamond in 49.49 seconds and Richard Barton finished in fifth place with Donata (by Ukato) in 50.46 seconds.
