Simon Delestre on top in Madrid

At the International Horse Week in Madrid, Spain, France's show jumper, Simon Delestre has claimed the first 1.55m world cup qualifier win. About the 10-year-old Chesall (by Casall), Delestre set a record time finishing in 37.90 seconds. Half of the horse-rider combinations qualified for the jump-off. Former German Champion, Daniel Deusser, finished second. Together with Toulago (by Toulon) he finished two seconds slower as Delestre. Third place coloured Finish thanks to Anna-Julia Kontio and Pacific des Essarts. 10 out of the 24 starters in the jump-off finished clear.
