Simon Delestre takes the win in Basel

A total of 10 horse-rider combinations qualified for the jump-off in the 1.55m CSI5* class in Basel, Switzerland. Aboard the 11-year-old Chesall (by Casall) the current world number two set the fastest time, finishing in 33.41 seconds. The pair was followed by Switzerland's Niklaus Rutschi with Windsor XV (by Karandasji) in a second place. Third place of the evening went to Luciana Diniz and her favorit Winningmood (by Darco). The pair took a lot of risks making short turns and speeding up the pase. Eventually they finished in 34.17 seconds, only 0.01 seconds faster as Niklaus Rutschi. The top five was completed by Daniel Deusser with Clintop (by Clinton) and Anna-Julia Kontio with Pacific des Essarts (by Diamant de Semilly) in fourth and fifth place.
