In Saint Tropez the day concluded with some clouds in the air, but a sunny holiday atmosphere nevertheless. In the 1.50m CSI5* class it was world number one, France's Simon Delestre who speeded to victory. Aboard the 11-year-old Chesall Zimequest (by Casall), Delestre stopped the clock in 33.49 seconds, returning home with his first CSI5* victory of the week. The jumps were set at a height of 1.50m. A total of 17 out of the 41 starters returned for the jump-off, only eight finished faultless. Morocco's Abdelkebir Ouaddar and his trusted 12-year-old Quickly de Kreisker (by Diamant de Semilly) followed in a second place after a clear finish in 33.94 seconds. Great Britain coloured the third place thanks to Ben Maher and Diva II (by Kannan).
