It seemed to be a difficult task with eight combinations retired and eight advancing to the jump-Off in the Grand Prix of La Baule. As Belgium's Gregory Wathelet and his 11-year-old Darco-son, Iron Man vd Padenborre set the record time with one rail down it was eventually reigning World champion, Simone Blum who sped to victory. Blum and her DSP Alice (Askari) took the risk and referred Steve Guerdat with the 13-year-old Balou du Rouet-mare, Albfuehren's Bianca to the runner-up position. Irelands Darragh Kenny completed the stage aboard Important de Muze (Erco van 't Roosakker) while Amy Inglis placed fourth with Wishes. Results
