Smolders holds on his first-of-the-world spot

Another month it is Dutch show jumping rider, Harrie Smolders who is in the lead of the FEI Longines World ranking list. Although Smolders holds on his first spot, there's much changes in the top ten. Steve Guerdat has shot up from rank nine to two and is followed by Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann who moves up from rank four to three. McLain Ward (USA) has to settle for the fourth spot this month, coming from his runner-up position. Marcus Ehning also falls two spots and is now ranked as number five. Daniel Deusser and Peder Fredricson both hold on their rank in six and seven while Eric Lamaze falls from rank five to eight. Beezie Madden climbbs into the Top 10 after being ranked eleventh last month. Martin Fuchs makes a huge jump into the top ten in rank no ten, pushing Kevin Staut and Kent Farrington out of this ranking. Ranking
