Yesterday evening the Nations Cup troosting would have decided wether it will be Spain or Austria who earns the ticket for next year's Europe Division 1 Nations Cup series. Because of the bad weather conditions, the troosting class was forced to cancel. Heavy rain and thunder caused the arena to flood. Today the FEI has decided, based on the FEI rules and regulations, Spain will be competing in next year's Europe Division 1 Nations Cup series. Last thursday Spain kicked-off with a better result in the first Nations Cup Finals qualifier. Spain finished in a 12th position with 16 points, while Austria collected a total of 24 points and placed 13th.
