Splaine announces Irish Team for St.Gallen Nations Cup

Press Release : Horse Sport Ireland  Irish Team Manager Robert Splaine has announced his five-man squad for the Swiss Nations Cup in St Gallen, which takes place on Friday next, June 3rd. St Gallen will be the fourth leg of the Europe Division 1 league and is one of Ireland’s all important points scoring rounds in the Furusiyya Nations Cup series. The Irish squad in alphabetical order is: Bertram Allen with Molly Malone V, owned by Ballywalter Farms Greg Broderick with MHS Going Global (ISH), owned by Caledonia Stables Anthony Condon with Aristio, owned by Anthony Condon & John Hales Denis Lynch with All Star 5, owned by Denis Lynch & Thomas Straumann Cian O’Connor with Good Luck, owned by Adena Springs & Ronnoco Jump Ltd. Robert Splaine said: “Lummen CSIO was cancelled due to bad weather and as a result, St Gallen is of particular importance for us. My decision on the Olympic place will be decided after St Gallen and all four of our main Rio contenders, Bertram Allen and Molly Malone, Greg Broderick and MHS Going Global, Denis Lynch and All Star and Cian O Connor and Good Luck, are due to line out in the Nations Cup.” The draw for the order of jumping will take place on Thursday next in St Gallen.
