While most riders are waiting for the Nations Cup leg to start in Sankt Gallen they warmed-up with a 1m50-competition at the CSIO5*. Olympic champion Steve Guerdat took home the victory with his 11-year-old Sidney VIII (s. Carry). The British rider Guy Williams and his Belgian Warmbred-mare Bijou van de Vijheide (s. Darco) followed in a second place before Luca Maira Moneta and Quova de Cains (s. Robin II).
Due to the bad weather in the Swiss town only 32 pairs appeared at the start of this competition. Initially about 76 horses were supposed to start in this 1m50 course.
