Earlier today we wrote that Kevin Staut got a new horse, but now it appears that Simon Delestre is expanding his stables as well. The ex number one of the world will be riding Sultan du Château from now on. The 10-year old Kannan son was previously ridden by Laurent Guillet but moved to the stables of Delestre today. Guillet was riding the gelding since he was 5 year old. "I really like this horse, but I have such a busy schedule and it is really a shame of only showing Sultan in the 2* en 3* competition. Simon is always looking for good horses and he was interested in Sultan. I always liked Simon and we met each other in Valencia", Guillet says. In October Delestre will be showing the horse in de 5* competition of Oslo. "We want to sell the horse eventually, but there's no rush. I want to see how everything evolves", Guillet adds.
