Switzerland keeps winning in Lausanne

At the Longines International Horse Show of Lausanne in Switzerland, the home riders keep winning. In the concluding 1.45m CSI5* class it was Paul Estermann and the 14-year-old Castlefield Eclipse (by Obos Quality) who topped the class. The pair concluded their round faultless in a time of 35.20 seconds. France's Maelle Martin and Giovani de la Pomme (by Shindler de Muze ) followed in a second place after a time of 35.42 seconds. USA's Lucy Davis completed the stage. Together with 10-year-old KWPN-horse Boucheron (by Guidam Sohn) she finished clear while stopping the clock in 36.36 seconds. Luca Maria Moneta and Connery (by Cordobes II ) placed fourth and was followed by Jane Richard Philips (Pablo de Virton). A total of 16 out of the 48 starters qualified for the jump-off. Ten out of them produced a clear jump-off.
