Switzerland on top in FEI Nations Cup La Baule

With the Belgium team in the lead after the first round at the CSI5* 1m60 FEI Nations Cup in La Baule, it was up to Switzerland to take over the competition. They delivered in the second round by keeping their score from the first round and taking the competition with only 4 penalties. Team members Niklaus Rutschi and Cardano CH (by Charmeur), Steve Guerdat and Albfuehren's Bianca (Balou du Rouet), Paul Estermann and Lord Pepsi and Bryan Balsiger with Clouzot de Lassus all stayed clear in the second round.

With the Swiss team taking the competition, the pressure was on for the Belgium team. They took the reserve title by claiming silver with only 5 penalties total. The Belgium team had some great results from Niels Bruynseels and Utamaro d'Ecaussines (Diamant de Semilly), Gregory Wathelet and MJT Nevados (Calvados Z) and Nicola Philippaerts and H&M Chilli Willi (Casall) who all stayed clear as well. It was however Pieter Devos with Claire Z (by Clearway) who finished with 1 penalty. The French team then finished in third place with 8 penalties. Results
