Sylve Söderstrand quits as Swedish Chef d'Equipe

The Swedish Equestrian Federation will have to search for a replacing Chef d'Equipe for its show jumpers. Sylve Söderstrand will no longer continue in this position. The Swedish Equestrian Federation reports that the co-operation comes to an end as the parties can not agree on certain conditions. “It’s a bit sad to go separate ways. Sylve has had a lot of success with the Swedish team, with medals at several championships,” says Ulf Brömster in a press release from the Swedish Equestrian Federation. Sweden is qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio, and has lost a key player to their previous success just a few months ahead of the Games. A new Chef d'Equipe is expected to be presented shortly.
