Team Belgium jumps to victory in Saut Hermes U25 Team competition

During the last day of the Saut Hermès in Paris, the team competition of the CSIU25 has been ridden. Ten countries entered the show ring with two combinations each. Each team was trained by an international top rider. It was a 1m45 class ridden in two rounds. All countries came back for the second round except Finland. Antonia Hartwall fell in the first round and got eliminated. It was our team that, with the help of Guéry, jumped to the victory. In the first round, the Belgians kept the zero on the score board. In the second round they got 4 penalties behind their names. Because of that it became a battle to be the fastest 4-faulter. Nathan Budd appeared at the start with his chestnut gelding Balder vd Katelijnkouter (f. Baloubet du Rouet) and Emilie Conter entered the show ring with her new horse Espyrante (f. Obour). Nathan Budd got a penalty in the second round and Emilie Conter knew what she had to do: jump a clear, fast round and so she did! The Belgian team ended with four penalties in a time of 81,78 seconds. The second place was for the Swedish time under the lead of Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. Alexandra Eriksson and Liss Royal (f. Lissabon) and Eeveline Tovek and Quiara M (f. Quidam's Rubin) got one penalty in the first round.
