Thobias Thoenes and Jens Vandenberk take a strong start at the Sentower Park

Today the Sentower Park kicked-off the Indoor season with its international CSI2* competition. First to start are the Young Horses with their own CSIYH*. The victory coloured the hosting countries as Belgium's Jens Vandenberk speeded to victory with the 6-year-old horses. Vandenberk and Cincenetty GJ Z (by Cassiro) topped the class after a clear finish in 28.03 seconds. Only a few hunderst of seconds behind was Germany's Tobias Thoenes and CAP 4 (by Comme Il Faut). The pair crossed the finish in 28.7 seconds. Thoenes' compatriot Frederik Knorren followed in a third place. Aboard Favoriet (by Sam), Knorren was followed by Jens Wawrauschenk and Coupde de Candilla (by Coup de Coeur). The top five was completed by Catherina Pasmore (Chantal, by Iowa).   A total of 58 combinations took the start. In the following class for 7-year-old hroses 43 pairs appeared. Fastest time was set by Thobias Thoenes and the Cornet Obolenky-son, Cornet MM. The pair concluded in 27.89 seconds. Dutch Amber Fijen followed as runner-up with California Blue (by Chacco Blue). The stage was completed by Kevin Staut and Vendome D'Anchat (by Diamant de Semilly).
