Timothy Page from another world in 1.35m class in Vilamoura

None stood a chance this morning against Timothy Page in the 1.35m CSI3* class. The Brit soared to victory with the gelding Steady The Helm (by Tikkanen) and finished in second with hit other horse Elvira (by Amadeus). Page was just unbeatable in the early morning sun today. Aboard his gelding from Tikkanen the British rider crossed the finish line in 57.95 seconds. With his "second" horse a KWPN mare from Amadeus he followed a second later to claim the second price in front of French rider Manon Jobin. Jobin did put in a fairly fast round with her Selle Francais mare Tortue Dechainee (by Iowa). But was no where close to Page with her time of 62.03 seconds. Zwedish Angelica Auguston Zanotelli followed in fourth place with Dis Moi Tour de Clairbois (by Ugano Sitte). And Patrice Astier closed the top 5 ranking with his stallion Viltot du Temple (by Le Tot de Semilly). In the Francicso Moura arena it were the French that reigned supreme during the 1.30m accumulator test. Julien Gonin was the fastest rider to collect all 65 points with his Selle Francais mare Vipper du Lavoir (by Castrnom Z de hus). With a ride in 44.80 seconds he left fellow countrymen Theo Chehu and Pierre Souvignet behind in second and third place. Go here to see all the results.
