Kent Farrington is unstopable in Rome. It's a two on two for the American show jumper, now also winning the 1.50m jump-off class. A total of 9 horse-rider combinations placed for the jump-off. Eventually it was Kent Farrington and Waomi (by Lupicor) who set the fastest time. Luca Maria Moneta and Quava de Vains (by Robin II Z) followed in a second place. The pair finished in 35.87 seconds, only a difference of 0.12 seconds. Belgium's Pieter Devos and Equipharma Dax v Dabdijhoeve (by Desir du Chateau) finished third. The top five was completed by Gerco Schröder and Glock's Zatanza in fourth. Fifth was Lorenzo de Luca aboard Zoe II.
