Eventually it was the Irish rider Billy Twomey who took the victory. He and his Ardcolum Duke (f. Gypsy Duke) left the wood untouched and finished in 54,69 seconds. Carlos Enrique Lopez Lizarazo jumped to the second place with his 10-year old KWPN mare Cuplandra (f. Upgrade). This combination jumped a clear round as well, but was almost two seconds slower than Twomey. The Ducth rider Leopold Van Asten completed the podium. With his 10-year old Chaco-Blue daughter VDL Groep Miss Untouchable, he finished in 56,54 seconds, keeping the zero on the score board. Christian Ahlmann and Cornado II (f.
