For the second week in a row John Anderson welcomes the local Alberta show jumpers at his ranch. An improved domain, some lovely weather and smiling faces are again the start of the succes story of the Rocky Mountain Show jumping. With two more days to go in this weeks jumping it is James Chawke who already put his name on the win so far. Aboard Nirvana de Terlong and HH Cantino Chawke already claimed two victories in the 1.40m classes. Winning $1,050 so far. In the open Welcome it was Tracey Epp (Chicago) and Beda Wachter (On the Rocks) who followed in a second and third place. In the 1.30m classes James Chawke rode in the picture again. Together with Arista and Bonheur van Do Kapol he jumped twice into the top five. It was however Vanessa Mannix - back from Europe - and HHS Cheiro who captured two wins. Red Deer's Femke Courchaine and Dareusa S jumped to a second and third place being in the classes. The pair also finished third in the 1.25m class. Winner was Heather Archer and Eben, followed by Tamie Phillips with Eragon... Soon the final winners will be reported on. Meanwhile riders still battle for the wins.
