He stayed ahead of New-Zealand's Grant Wilson who jumped a clear round with his Un Diamant du Nevez (by Diamant de Semilly) in 41.11 seconds. In third place it's Argentina's José María jr Larocca and his Gautcho da Quinta a Belgium Warmblood by Cicero Z van Paemel. The combination crossed the finish line in 43.62 seconds. With the fastest time but with four penalties it was Irish rider Michael Kearins who finished in fourth place. He and his Dauphin (by Qasimodo vd Vlikkenberg) finished with 37.65 seconds on the clock.
