Vincent Lambrecht and Marlon Zanotelli on top in Lier's night class

Last night the main class at the CSI2* in Lier was split in two classes. The first session was no match for Belgium's Vincent Lambrecht and the 9-year-old Bogota (by Balou du Rouet). The pair crossed the finish in 33.64 seconds. Kirsten Rombauts continued her form of the last days, jumping to the second place aboard Verona van Beek (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve). Dutch Tom Martens followed in a third spot with UT Wodka (by Cassini). Martens stopped the timer in 35.19 seconds. The course was build heavy and technical. The wide double combination oxer - style coming from the turn and the bend line between fence number two en three proved to be technical and difficult to jump. The top five was completed by Gilles Thomas with Cantario (by Casiro I) in a fourth and Marizio Ruiz (Verona VII) in fifth.   The last 1.40m class was claimed by Marlon Zanotelli with Illusion GT (by Couleur Rubin). Zanotelli speeded through the course in 31.17 seconds. The pair was followed by Benjamin Robert with Unfinity Bois Margot (by L'Arc de Triomphe) as runner-up. Third place was for Bart Clarys and El Cid (by Caeser Van De Helle). Pieter Kenis and Igor van de Burcht (by Quadrillo) and Gudrun Patteet (Sea Coast Ideo d'O, by Bentley) completed the top five in fourth and fifth place.
