The 13 year old stallion Vleut (Quick Star x Cantus), formerly known as Guccio, has been bought by Saudi rider Abdullah Al Sharbatly. The stallion was originally competed by the Van der Vleuten's before Australian rider Edwina Tops Alexander took over the reins. It was under Edwina that the stallions name was changed to 'Guccio', named after the founder of the fashion brand Gucci, Edwina's sponsors. The stallion was quite successful with Edwina, they finished third in the LGCT Grand Prix of Monte Carlo in 2013. In 2012 they were second in the La Coruna Grand Prix and won the Lyon Equita Masters in 2011. The stallion will now competed under his original name Vleut with Al Sharbatly and we wish them the best of luck. Photos : Equnews
