Ward Mclain on top in Rome's opening 1.50m class

Last weekend Ward McLain was the CSI3*-winner on home soil in the United States of America. Today the USA show jumping rider speeded to victory in the 1.50m opening class at the CSIO5* in Rome, Italy. Aboard HH Carlos Z (by Chellano Z), Mclain finished clear in 36.89 seconds. STX-rider, Lorenzo de Luca tacked up Balou de Coeur Joye and finished second after crossing the finish in 38.64 seconds. Before it was Belgium's Christophe Vanderhasselt who competed this Balou du Rouet-son. The current world number one finished third with Utah d'Aiguilly (by Kashmir van Schuttershof).
