Wellington crowns first champions of the new year

Last weekend the West Palm Beach Equestrian center in Wellington was the host for its first international competition. A total of 12 nations gathered to battle for the victory. Eventually it was Great Britain who took home the win. Lauren Innes, Lottie Kennedy and Jess Campbell left last years' winners, Ireland, in second place. The Irish squad was represented by Peter O'Donnell, Brian Morrisson and James Brennen. Brian Morrisson also turned out to be the best rider of the competition. While compatriot James Brennen took home the individual show jumping price. The Belgian team completed the stage in the gold league. In the silver league the only nation that took home victory was Canada. The Canadian team was represented by Cierra Lauren, Maddy Riddle and Katlyn Hudema. The overall victory was for an international Bierlanda team, sponsored by Equnews.
