William Whitaker on top in London's Olympia show

Yesterday it was Jessica Mendoza who took the win, earlier today Ben Maher rode to victory and Great-Britain coloured the win yet again in today's evening class in London at the London International Horse Show. The Christmas Tree Stakes was set at a height of 1.55m. A total of 13 horse-rider combinations qualified for the jump-off. Eventually William Whitaker and the 10-year-old sire, Balibu (by Baloubet du Rouet) finished clear in 31.89 seconds. The unbeatable time. Anna-Julia Kontio and the Corland-son, Fardon finished in 31.08 seconds, taking in the runner-up position. Third spot was for John Whitaker and Ornellaia (by For Pleasure). The top five was completed by the CSI5* opening -winner, Emanuele Gaudiano with Caspar and Ludger Beerbaum with Colestus in fourth and fifth place.   CLICK HERE FOR THE RESULTS
