Wilton Porter rises to the occasion in Grand Prix Qualifier Samorin

In Samorin, Slovakia the student once again rises to the occasion. USA rider Wilton Porter who trains with Dutch rider Jeroen Dubbeldam claimed tonights victory in the Grand Prix qualifier. This CSI4* over 1m50 knew a total of 21 combinations in the jump-off. Aboard his Caletto Cabana (Cassini I) he jumped to a time of 37.91 seconds staying well ahead of the competition. Teacher Jeroen Dubbeldam finished in a eight place aboard Roelofsen Horse Trucks Eldorado S (Diarado) with 42.99 seconds on the clock. Wilton's brother Lucas Porter also ensured a top ten finish aboard Hunter (Cassini II) with a seventh place. For Great Britain William Whitaker was good for second place aboard his Utamaro D Ecaussines (Diamant de Semilly) with whom he stopped the time at 38.38 seconds. Following in third place for Poland was Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski and his Chacclana (Chacco Blue) with whom he finished in 38.51 seconds. In fourth place for Germany it was Jörne Sprehe aboard her Stakki's Jumper (Stakkato Gold), followed by a fifth place for Swiss rider Pius Schwizer en his Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet).   Results
